For the welcome dinner, the dress code is Daytime/Casual - for example: sundresses, high/low dresses, jumpsuits, dress pants, khakis, collared shirts, polos.
For the ceremony and the reception, the dress code is Semi-Formal/Dressy Casual - for example: Dress shirt, slacks, suits, tie optional, pantsuits, dressy skirts and blouses, cocktail dresses. Remember that the ceremony is outdoors, so be careful with high heels.
For the hangover brunch, we're assuming we'll all be fairly disheveled, so the dress code is come as you are - whatever you want to wear!
This same information is listed on the Itinerary page under each event.
The North Haven Inn & Market (124 Pulpit Harbor Rd) has groceries and snacks. The selection is basic, including wine and beer but not hard liquor. They also serve ready-made sandwiches and pizza. Check online for store hours.
The Landing (9 Main St) serves sandwiches and the Market at Hopkins Wharf (also on Main Street) serves pastries.
See the About the Island page for more information and other island activities.
It depends on where you are staying, but both the ceremony and the reception site are most easily accessed by car. If you've rented a car it's only about a 15 minute drive max between the two. There are no Uber or Lyft services on the island (or rental cars) but we have a school bus available to pick you up from your accommodations and take you where you need to go.
We have hired the North Haven schoolbus to transport guests on Friday, June 30th, Saturday, July 1st, and Sunday, July 2nd. We will email or text you the bus schedule if you indicated that you need bus transportation on the RSVP. If you find yourself stranded for some reason, you can always contact us, Mary White, or Chris Flowers.
Both Calderwood Hall and Nebo Lodge are about a five minute walk from the ferry terminal, so you don't need a car or the school bus to transport you in either direction. Look at the map on the About the Island page to get a better idea of how far everything is from each other.
If you want to send us something, here is the best place to send it:
21849 Tenderfoot Way
Diamond Bar, CA 91765
Reminder that you really don't have to get us anything! We know getting to the island is already an expense, and we appreciate you taking the time and energy to get here!
